Ingredients for the Recipe

  1. 2 egg yolks and whites
  2. 1 and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  3. 2 ¾ cups of self-rising flour
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 2 cups warm milk
  6. ½ melted butter
  7. 5 tablespoons white sugar

Directions for the Recipe

  1. Take a large bowl, add egg yolks and sugar and beat them together
  2. Beat it in vanilla extract, butter and salt
  3. Mix in flour and milk ( alternately) until blended well.
  4. Take an another bowl, add egg whites and beat them until they form soft peaks.
  5. Add and fold egg whites into batter and let it rest for 40 minutes
  6. Take non-stick cooking spray and put it on a preheated waffle iron
  7. Pour the mixture into hot waffle iron
  8. Cook until it’s golden brown and fluffy.
